A new color hand-dyed in an antique brown gradation color.

Considering the finish, color fastness to prevent color transfer, and texture, it is necessary to dye in several stages, but by taking the time and effort to color each and every part individually, we were able to achieve a deep and beautiful color.

About hand dyeing

Italian Vachetta Leather: This dyeing method is based on natural materials and uses a unique blend of natural and chemical dyes to take advantage of the characteristics of Vachetta leather, which contains a lot of tannins . Each piece is then hand-dyed to ensure a beautiful finished look.

The process is as follows: 1) Apply a primer coat to the roughly cut parts → 2) Skive the leather (adjust the leather thickness) → 3) Dye the back and fix the color → 4) Stitch the bag body after cutting → 5) Apply the finishing coat → 6) Fix the color and finish with oil, which requires a high level of skill and time.
*As this is hand-dyed, there may be slight differences in shade from piece to piece, but this is also part of the charm of handmade items.

The following is quoted from the ATELIER GARDENIA website:

Diango Atour

This apparel brand is heavily influenced by historical clothing (1800s-1930s) and creates clothes by cherishing the essence they have gained from studying clothing from various work-related fields of that era, clothing representing tradition and ethnicity, clothing and philosophies related to art and music, etc.

〜FARMERS LEATHER SHOULDER〜

This bag was created with the image of a leather shoulder bag that farmers in the French countryside in the early 1900s would have carried with them and kept close to their body, carrying their important belongings .
