Fascinated by the beauty of leather, I have been working with leather for nearly 20 years.

We carefully assess the individuality of each piece, searching for the most beautiful shape, and then stitch by stitch we tailor it.

Leather products born from this dialogue with materials develop a rich flavor in the lives of those who use them.

Perfect for everyday use or as a special gift, this is a one-of-a-kind piece that changes over time in your hands.

It is with this thought in mind that I continue to work today.

Beautiful hand-stitched stitches, precise machine stitching, and the shine and texture of metal fittings ＿＿＿Leather products quietly embody the skills and sensibilities that artisans have honed over many years.

Based on this design concept, we have deliberately avoided using seams or metal fittings to bring out the beauty of the leather itself and allow you to enjoy the changes that occur over time even more deeply.

Just as we can sense beauty in architecture with minimal noise, we have designed it to convey the essential beauty that remains by stripping it down to the bare minimum.

*At Has, we value "handmade manufacturing" and do everything in-house, from planning and design to cutting, dyeing, processing and sewing.

Satoshi Hidaka

Akio Hidaka

Born in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture in 1984.

Graduated from a fashion college in 2005. Worked in the manufacturing and planning departments at a leather goods manufacturer. While employed, she learned bag making at a professional hand-sewn bag atelier.

HIDA was launched in 2013 .

In addition to accepting orders for custom-made products and holding exhibitions at galleries and department stores, he also works as an advisor to the production headquarters of a leather goods brand, where he is involved in product development, training artisans, and building production systems.

Has Co., Ltd. was established in 2022. An atelier and gallery was opened in Yakuin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City.
