A long-established Italian restaurant in Fukuoka that was renovated in October 2018.
We were requested to create covers for food menus, covers for drink menus, receipt covers, and cash trays.
Along with the full renovation, we wanted to update the store fixtures, etc. We listened to their requests and preferences and made it a reality.
"It's more auspicious to use an Italian font for the logo of an Italian restaurant."
I heard the story,
"Then the leather should be made in Italy too."
We use Italian tanned leather: Buttero.
The branding is of course done using a brass mold made from logo data in an Italian font (apparently a font used in ancient Roman ruins, etc.).

Cash tray
This stainless steel tray is covered with leather, giving it a heavy feel.

Menu cover (tri-fold type)
The details of the three courses are easy to see.
We have added a core material inside to help it hold its shape, but due to the characteristics of this leather, it is difficult to bend as is, so we have added additional material to the parts that cannot be seen.

Menu cover (bi-fold type)
For the drink menu
Like the tri-fold type, it has a built-in mechanism to make it easier to bend. This one is designed to have the paper folded inside, so it has a leather string that matches the stitching color to hold the paper inside.

○Receipt cover
It has a hidden magnet that holds receipts in place.
The core material inside the part where you sign has been changed to take writing comfort into consideration.
When the client's thoughts and images are clear, I can create something that I feel a strong attachment to.
In addition, the creators involved in the full renewal project are a distinguished group, and I am very honored to have been involved.
