This is the process from creating a sample to completing a fully custom-made product.
In order to finalize the size and the design of the finer details, we make several samples using split leather and then make modifications to create the pattern.
The order this time was for a shoulder bag that was created based on a clear design image.
It's hard to see the finer details in the images, but the first sample was a rough three-dimensional creation, and the size was adjusted in the second sample.When the actual product was produced, corrections and adjustments were made to the fine lines (curves) and the joints with the shoulder straps, and it was completed.
A bag isn't complete until you make three.
This is often said, but the exact dimensions vary depending on the type and thickness of the leather, so the pattern will also change.
This time too, it was completed on the third try.
During the final production, we were able to add details related to the client's hobby, baseball, which was a point that pleased them.
However, since a fully custom-made bag requires a lot of time and effort, it is difficult to balance the price with what the client wants, as this is reflected in the cost.
