The other is our familiar Italian full vegetable tanned leather , Minerva Box, made by Battaglia . This is a traditional Italian 'Vacchetta' leather, which is tanned and oiled more slowly than regular tanning, resulting in a tightly packed, moist leather.
It has a seamless structure with no stitching whatsoever, but to give it the firmness it needs as a card case, a core material is inserted between the outer leather and the interior leather.
It is thin and light, yet sturdy and durable.
