A customer who previously ordered a lockable briefcase has requested a clutch bag of the same type.
This time, we used a metal fitting called "hineri" to open and close the flap, giving it a simple and elegant look.
The leather used is Minerva Box from Battarassi Carlo, Italy. It is tanned using the "Vacchetta method," a method only used by a select few tanneries in Tuscany, Italy. This method takes longer than regular tanning, and the hide is then oiled, resulting in a leather with firm, moist fibers.
Its unique scent and, most importantly, the way it ages and becomes more lustrous the more you use it are its charms.
Battarassi Carlo is a tannery known for reviving this tanning technique, which has been passed down since ancient times in Italy but was once discontinued.I have been working with leather for many years and can say that this is undoubtedly one of the best tanned leathers in the world.
This clutch bag is the owner's,
"I want a bag to go with my burgundy shoes."
This piece was created based on the request, and we arrived at the Minerva Box. Based on the keywords classic, simple, and elegant, it uses twisted metal fittings, which is a change from the previous piece.
The metal fittings are a little small compared to the bag itself, so we designed the flap to be shallow and balance it out, drawing attention to the top.
We hope you enjoy coordinating your outfit with your suit and shoes to change your mood.
