Gusseted business card holder [made to order]

This is a convenient business card holder with ample gussets and dividers to separate the compartments.

The matte sheen of the 'Vacchetta' leather creates an atmosphere, making this an all-rounder that can be used by both men and women in a wide range of occupations.

The natural grain of the Minerva box is a nice touch. The all-black design, including the stitching, makes it suitable for any occasion.

The two compartments have gussets and can hold approximately 20 cards each (based on standard thickness business cards).

The interior is made from a single piece of leather without any lining, but can also be customized with a lining.

Business cards are said to have originated in China around the 2nd century BC . At the time , bureaucrats and aristocrats carried plates called business cards that indicated their status and family background, and would place them between doors to let people know they were there if they were not at home. ( In fact, a business card belonging to Liu Bang , the first emperor of the Western Han dynasty, has been discovered.)

The business card holder began as decorative objects made from wood, ivory, metal, etc. to be used as holders for these cards. In Japan, the exchange of business cards became commonplace from the early 19th century due to the influence of Western culture, and as this spread, business card holders with various designs also became more common.

By the way, in China , the name changed from business card (wood or bamboo) meijo (paper) meipien (minpien) (paper). However, in Japan, the name remains "business card" and is still familiar to us today.

A business card holder that grows with your business. It is an item that you can use for a long time with proper maintenance such as polishing the edges.
