[Hanging snow]
...The snow that has fallen on the branches of trees slides down under its own weight.
...The snow that has fallen on the branches of trees slides down under its own weight.
That's the kind of scene I imagined.
This is the first in a series of bags themed around the four seasons. Summer will soon be upon us once the rainy season is over, but we hope that these bags will keep you cool and refreshed during this humid and muggy season.
The size is slightly smaller than a regular briefcase, and it is large enough to fit A4 size documents with ease.
Although it looks a little unusual, it is hand-sewn. The meticulous attention paid to every detail, from the placement of the interlining and stitching to the shape of the handle, makes it a work of art in itself.
The time-consuming and laborious process of making classic bags has been pushed aside in the age of mass production and consumption. Considering their durability, the designs are usually simple and timeless.
However, this would mean being lost in this age of diversity.
This bag was born out of a process of trial and error, asking how we could increase the opportunities for more people to see our fine craftsmanship.

The pigments applied to the edges are mixed and applied at different concentrations.

At 35cm wide, it's slightly smaller than a regular briefcase. It has a modern feel.

The double gusset structure allows you to sort your luggage.

The firm back is a result of the flap tailoring.

Each part is made with a different core material, making it less likely to lose its shape.

The interior is made of mustard-colored pigskin suede, which complements the taupe body color and navy stitching.

The core of the handle is made by laminating leather into a block and then carving it to create a rounded shape. This allows the handle to conform to the owner's hand over time and continue to be used without deterioration.
This is a beauty of form that can only be achieved through handwork.
When sewing together, the thickness may be more than 1cm in some places.
