This is a Boston bag with a completely hand-sewn opening.
The car is crafted with a combination of black leather with navy stitching and pink pigskin suede interior, reflecting the owner's attention to detail.
The mouth frame is made from two types of flat plates, stainless steel and aluminum, which are cut, drilled, and bent by hand before being wrapped in leather and assembled.
The metal fittings used on the tags are also original, made from processed brass.
Leather used: Liscio is a smooth leather made by Battarassi in Italy, a counterpart to the Minerva Box leather often used by Has. The charm of this leather is that it develops a lustrous sheen the more it is used.
Liscio is characterized by its smooth, matte finish and firmer texture compared to Minerva Box. However, when making this bag, I wanted it to have a bit more firmness, so I lined it according to the parts.
New metal fittings have been added to attach a shoulder strap so that the bag can also be worn over the shoulder.
The length of the strap is not too long as it will not be worn diagonally, and has been fine-tuned so that the bag sits at just the right height when worn.
And above all, hand-sewn bags are much stronger than machine-sewn bags. It's hard to tell from a picture, but because they pay attention to every detail, the finished product is beautiful and has a three-dimensional feel.
