This is an axe case that was made in response to a request.
Indeed, I have hardly ever seen such a shape in pre-made products. I asked about it because it was the first time I had seen it, and I was told that it is a common shape in northern areas such as Tohoku and Hokkaido, and is called an axe rather than an axe.
Because it had a unique shape, we struggled with the design, but we made samples using floor leather and worked our way through to completion.
It is covered with thick Italian tanned leather: Buttero, in its original thickness, and fastened with a pinless buckle.
This was a welcome request for us, as our gallery's concept is to "wrap" various items.
I'm looking forward to seeing the natural leather color change over time.
